Despite wearing and loving bling my whole life, when I saw this stunningly simple wedding dress by Piondress on Etsy, I knew it was the one. My husband and I were doing our small Civil ceremony with only our closest family and friends, and I wanted an elegant, chic and simplistic tea-length dress, and it was sort of love at first sight. I did add the bling in my own way, by adding a belt at the waist, but the dress was such an incredible choice and a huge success. On top of all that, when I finally wanted to purchase it, Piondress had just pulled it out of production, but when I reached out personally, they were more than happy to make one for me to my measurements! It fit like a charm and it was so easy to tailor as well – as I asked for the full original length in order for me to shorten it in person. In any case, Piondress went above and beyond to help me get my dress civil ceremony dress – it’s often hit and miss on Etsy, but Piondress is the real deal. Quality, service and craftsmanship come together and they are so nice too. Looking back on that day, everyone still showers me with compliments and I would pick that dress every single time.

I love this dress. It needed a fair amount of alterations, but it turned out beautifully. I love the simple design and the pearly button on the back. I did remove the mesh on the sleeve, but otherwise kept it true to the intended look of the dress. The fit wasn’t really true to size. I ordered a 14 which fit perfectly at the waist but was about 2 inches too small in the bust. Kind of odd since I don’t know too many size 14 ladies who are smaller in the bust than me since I’m only an A cup. The dress was also cut for a taller bride. I was expecting to hem the dress but I also needed the top adjusted for height. But my seamstress was able to work out all of these and I love the result.

I special ordered my wedding dress from PionDress with a chiffon skirt to go with the beautiful pearl sleeves and v-neck top. Not only did it turn out beautiful, but it arrived so quickly! It fit me perfectly, since it was made to my measurements. The pearl buttons in the back were a lovely touch and were easy to fasten. Once steamed, the dress flowed so beautifully and was perfect for our elopement ceremony and pictures on the beach! I’m so happy with my purchase and could not recommend enough!
