1. About Our Sizing

  • Each Piondress gown is made to order in our studio after your order is placed. We don’t keep ready-made stock — this way, every dress is crafted with care and attention to quality.
  • Each gown can be made in a standard size (returnable) or made to measure (non-returnable).
  • Standard sizes are available in Petite, Regular, and Tall length options to help you find the best fit for your height.

2. How to Choose Your Size

  • Sizes can vary slightly between brands, so it’s always best to check your own measurements against our chart.
  • For most A-line gowns, the hip measurement is less important. However, for fitted silhouettes, please measure your hips accurately.
  • If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size and planning for small local alterations after receiving your dress.

If you’re unsure which size to select, just send us your bust, waist, and height, and we’ll gladly help you choose the right one.

3. Made-to-Measure Option

  • If your proportions don’t match the chart perfectly, we can create your gown made to measure at no extra cost.
  • Once your order is confirmed, your personal manager will contact you with a video measurement guide — there’s no need to take your measurements in advance. Please note that made-to-measure gowns are non-returnable.

4. Maternity Sizing

  • To determine your size for a maternity dress, simply measure your bust while wearing a bra.
  • Please note that maternity sizes may differ slightly from your usual size due to natural body changes during pregnancy.

5. Extended Sizes

  • Most of our gowns are available in standard sizes up to US 14 / EUR 46.
  • If your measurements are above this range, we’ll be happy to create your gown made to measure — designed for comfort, elegance, and a perfect fit.

Each standard size dress can be made in Petite, Regular, or Tall lengths.

When placing your order, please include your height without heels — it helps us adjust the proportions of the bodice, sleeves, and skirt for a balanced look.

Choosing a height option doesn’t mean the gown is made to your exact measurements.
It simply follows the average proportions for that height, so the overall fit will be close — but not as precise as a custom-made dress.

If you are under 5’1″ (155 cm) or over 5’10″ (178 cm), we recommend choosing made to measure for the best fit.

Petite

5’1″ – 5’3″
155 – 160 cm

Regular

5’4″ – 5’7″
162 – 170 cm

Tall

5’8″ – 5’10”
172 – 178 cm

Custom

under 5’1″ or over 5’10
under 155 cm or over 178 cm

How to Take Measurements

Taking your measurements is simple and takes just a few minutes.
You’ll need a soft tailor’s tape measure (avoid metal ones, as they can give inaccurate results).
Follow our quick guide below — accuracy here helps us create the perfect fit for your dress.

Bust

Wear a well-fitting bra and measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape horizontal and snug but not tight, ensuring it’s level all around.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your torso, just above your belly button — not where your pants usually sit.
Keep the tape horizontal and slightly loose to allow gentle breathing room.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Make sure the tape is straight and level, fitting snugly but not too tight.
